(Reliability: 3). #42 Marriage of Emanuele Licitra and Filipponera Diquattro February 16, 1913 1913, the 16th of February at the hour of 10:40 in the town hall of Ragusa before Giovanni Gulino, Mayor and official of the vital records office appeared Emanuele Licitra, single, 22, miner, born in Ragusa, resident of same, son of Carmelo and Carmela Schembari;a nd also appeared Filipponera Diquattro, single, 22, housewife, born in Ragusa, resident of same, daughter of Carmelo and Angela Occhipinti, both of Ragusa, and they have asked to be united in marriage. To this effect I have been presented the documents described below; the marriage banns were posted, and all documents inserted into the register of the attachments of this register, and with no opposition to the celebration of their marriage, I read to them the civil code and asked the groom if he takes for his wife Filipponera Diquattro; and I asked the bride if she takes for her husband Emanuele Licitra, and having received their positive response, and before the witnesses listed below, I have pronounced them united in marriage. Witnesses to this testimony are Rosario Giarratana, 67 and Enrico Castellatto, 70. Banns were posted on the 29th of February and there was no opposition. Licitra Diquattro Marriage 1913.png
