1874, the 28th of March at the hour of 11am in the town hall of Ragusa, District of Modica, Province of Siracusa before Dr. Giovanni Sbezzi, Mayor and official of the vital records office of Ragusa appeared Salvatore Nobile, son of Giuseppe, 38, carter, resident of Ragusa at Via Nuova, who presents a baby girl who he declares was born today at the hour of 7am to his wife Carmela Occhipinti, son of Giuseppe, 29, spinner, resident of this town, and they named the child Giovanna. Witnesses are Giovanni LaRocca, son of Carmelo, 36 and Carmelo La Rocca, son of the late Giuseppe, 59, both shoemakers.

1900, the 11th of April at the hour of 10am in the town hall before Sebastiano Campisi, official of the vital records office of Pachino appeared Giuseppe D'Amico, 42 and Benedetto (?), 36, both gravediggers of Pachino and they declare that at the hour of 5am today in the home at (blank) died Giovanna Nobile, 24, farmer, born in Ragusa, resident of Pachino, daughter of Salvatore and Carmela Occhipinti and wife of Antonino Fazzina. Witnesses are Francesco Gulino, 40 and Carmelo D'Amico, 32.

#103 Marriage of Salvatore Nobile and Carmela Occhipinti June 22, 1873
1873, the 22nd of June in the town hall of Ragusa, Modica, Siracusa, before Stefano Lupis, official of the vital records office of Ragusa and in the presence of Mr. Biaggio Luscanelli, son of the late Francesco, 61, and Carmelo Pellingra, son of the late Carmelo, age 55, both shoemakers of this town and residents of Via Carmine, appeared Salvatore Nobile, widower of Giovanna Martorana, 37, coach driver, born in and resident of Ragusa, Via (?), son of Giuseppe and Francesca Capone, a coach driver and residnets of Via Sant'Anna, and also appeared Carmela Occhipinti, single, 27, spinner, born in and resident of Ragusa, Via Santo Alberto, daughter of Giuseppe and Giovanna Di Stefano, picker, who lives with his daughter, and they wish to be united in marriage and have produced the extracts of their birth and other documents for the banns from the registers of this town. The banns were posted and there was no opposition. The civil codes were read to those present and having their mutual consent, they were united in marriage.

#73 Marriage of Antonino Fazzina and Giovanna Nobile November 24, 1897
1897, the 24th of November at the hour of 10am in the town hall of Pachino before Luigi Giardina, Mayor and official of the vital records office appeared Antonino Fazzina, single, 23, farmer, born in Floridia, resident of Pachino, son of Sebastiano and Maria Bosco, both of Pachino; and also appeared Giovanna Nobile, single, 23, housewife, born in Ragusa, resident of Pachino, daughter of Salvatore and Carmela Occhipinti, both of Pachino and they have asked to be united in marriage. To this effect I have been presented the documents described below; the marriage banns were posted, and all documents inserted into the register of the attachments of this register, and with no opposition to the celebration of their marriage, I read to them the civil code and asked the groom if he takes for his wife Giovanna Nobile; and I asked the bride if she takes for her husband Antonino Fazzina, and having received their positive response, and before the witnesses listed below, I have pronounced them united in marriage. Witnesses to this testimony are Vincenzo Amenta, 33 and Salvatore Mallia, 22, both farmers. Banns were posted on the 24th and 31st of October.
