#243 Birth of Giovanna Diquattro February 12, 1886
18865, the 14th of February at the hour of 9:20am in the town hall before Giovanni Cartia, Mayor and official of the vital records office of Ragusa appeared Carmelo Diquattro, 29, pickman, of Ragusa, who declares that at the hour of 4pm on the 12th of this month in the home at Via S. Alberto #34 to Angela Occhipinti, his wife, 24, housewife, was born a baby girl who was presented and given the name Giovanna. Witnesses are Biagio Luparelli, 74, shoemaker and Giovanni Iacono, 63, blacksmith. Margin notation indicates marriage to Francesco Di Lorenzo on June 4, 1911 and death in Ragusa on January 2, 1961.

#60 Marriage of Carmelo Di Quattro and Angela Occhipinti February 24, 1885
1885, the 24th of February at the hour of 11:35am in the town hall of Ragusa before Giovanni Cartia, Mayor and official of the vital records office appeared Carmelo Di Quattro, widower of Giovanna Garrieri, 28, farmer, born in this town, resident of same, son of Emanuele, a farmer and Filipponera Turato, and also appeared Angela Occhipinti, single, 25, seamstress, born in this town, resident of same, daughter of Giuseppe, a picker and Giovanna Di Stefano, and they have asked to be united in marriage. To this effect I have been presented the documents described below; the marriage banns were posted, and all documents inserted into the register of the attachments of this register, and with no opposition to the celebration of their marriage, I read to them the civil code and asked the groom if he takes for his wife Angela Occhipinti and I asked the bride if she takes for her husband Carmelo Di Quattro, and having received their positive response, and before the witnesses listed below, I have pronounced them united in marriage. Witnesses to this testimony are Biagio Laparelli, 73, shoemaker and Giovanni Iacono, 62, blacksmith. Banns were posted on the 8th and 15th of February.

1911, the 4th of June at the hour of 10:30 in the town hall of Ragusa before Pietro Bertini, official of the vital records office appeared Francesco Dilorenzo, single, 23, ax picker, born in Ragusa, resident of same, son of Giovanni a farmer and Maria Schembari, both of Ragusa; and also appeared Giovanna Diquattro, single, 25, housewife, born in Ragusa, resident of same, daughter of Carmelo, ax picker and Angela Occhipinti, both of Ragusa, and they have asked to be united in marriage.
