#141 Marriage of Lorenzo Roccuzzo and Giovanna Biagia Occhipinti October 20, 1907
1907, the 20th of October at the hour of 10:40 in the town hall before Giorgio Migliorisi, official of the vital records office appeared Lorenzo Roccuzzo, single, 26, shoemaker, born in Monterosso Almo, resident of same, son of Giuseppe, a shoemaker and resident of Monterosso Almo and Rosa Accomando, of MOnterosso Almo; and also appeared Giovanna Biagia Occhipinti, single, 23, housewife, born in Ragusa, resident of same, daughter of Francesco, a pickman, of Ragusa and Giovanna Guardiano, of Ragusa, and they have asked to be united in marriage. To this effect I have been presented the documents described below; the marriage banns were posted, and all documents inserted into the register of the attachments of this register, and with no opposition to the celebration of their marriage, I read to them the civil code and asked the groom if he takes for his wife Giovanna Biagia Occhipinti; and I asked the bride if she takes for her husband Lorenzo Roccuzzo, and having received their positive response, and before the witnesses listed below, I have pronounced them united in marriage. Witnesses to this testimony are Francesco Blundo, 48 and Giuseppe Blundo, 29. Marriage banns were posted in both towns on the 29th of September and the 6th of October and there was no opposition.
