#228 Birth of Paolo La Barbara August 24, 1845
1845, the 25th of August at the hour of 22 before Antonino Traina, Mayor and official of the vital records office of Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo, appeared Gaetano LaBarbara, 33, farmer of Misilmeri who presents a baby boy who he declares was born to Caterina La Scala, his wife, age 31, and himself on the 24th of August at the hour of 16 in their home. They named the child Paolo. He was baptized on the 25th of August in the church of Misilmeri. Witnesses are Carlo Ardizzone, 60, farmer and Domenico Correnti, 31, farmer, both of Misilmeri.

1834, the 19th of December at the hour of 23 before Angelo Grimaldi, Mayor and official of the vital records office of Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo, appeared Gaetano Barbari, single, 26, born in Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo, farmer, resident of Misilmeri, son of Ignazio, age 50, a farmer of Misilmeri and Angela Schimmenti, age 42, of Misilmeri; and also appeared Caterina LaScala, single, 20, born in Misilmeri, resident of Misilmeri, daughter of Giusto, age 56, a farmer and Giuseppa Scozzaro, 48, both of Misilmeri. They were married on December 19, 1834. Banns were posted on November 30th in Misilmeri. Documents provided are the birth records of the bride and groom, and the banns. Witnesses are Francesco Dell'Orto, 440, farmer, Antonino Siena, 24, farmer, Giuseppe Orlando, 24, farmer and Filippo Correnti, 23, farmer, all of Misilmeri.
