1855, the 3rd of December at the hour of 16before Don Gaspare Sparti, official of the vital records office of Misilmeri, Palermo, appeared Pietro Arnone, 50, farmer, of Misilmeri and Pietro Giammona, 48, farmer, of Misilmeri, who declare that today at the hour of 13 died in her home Giusta Strano, child, age 3, born in Misilmeri, resident of same, daughter of Giuseppe and Vita Raffa.

#69 Marriage of Giuseppe Strano and Vita Raffa December 10, 1837
1837, the 10th of December at the hour of 23 before Vincenzo Rombolo, official of the vital records office of Misilmeri, District of Palermo, Provine of Palermo, appeared Giuseppe Strano, single, 26, born in Misilmeri, farmer, resident of Misilmeri, son of the late Giuseppe and the living Giuseppa Farinella, 52; and also appeared Vita Raffa, single, 22, born in Misilmeri, resident of same, daughter of the late Antonino Raffa and the late Giuseppa Gallitano. They were married on Dec 10, 1837 in the church of Misilmeri. Giuseppa Farinella, mother of the groom, is present and gives her consent. Banns were posted on November 19, in Misilmeri. Documents provided are the birth records of the bride and groom, the death records of the father and grandfather of the groom, and the death records of the father, mother and grandfather of the bride, as well as the banns. Witnesses are Francesco Ferraro, 22, farmer, Giuseppe Saitta, 30, farmer, Antonino Bono, 25, farmer and Pietro Arnone, 35, farmer, all of Misilmeri.
